Banned for griefing.

I've been banned for griefing walla56 but I can explain that.
I was walking around different cities and outside of them to find a good place to build my "secret base" to hide all my gathered stuff since the lwc protection didnt work for me again.
And so I found a good place where I digged myself into the ground and mined some stone.
Then I lagged and got disconnected from the server with the "end of stream" error. (I guess the server went down at this moment)

After a hour I connected to the server again and found myself in some room. Since I searched for like an hour or so for a good place to hide my stuff I didnt want to use /spawn or /home and walk all the way again so I destroyed some blocks that looked like usual blocks (stone, dirt, sand) and built my way up to get out of this room. I immediatly replaced the blocks.

I know that counts as grief but I hope for a second chance. Next time I'll use teleport commands if something like this happens again.

Why do I always have someone appeal when i'm at work?
Anyways, I'll post the screenies when I get home, but it appears that he griefed into walla56's place, and went into the chests and liberated some items.
If I remember correctly, you broke some sand to get in/out and replaced it.
BTW If you really did get stuck inside use /spawn instead of griefing out. >.>

As I said I was dumb and to lazy to walk all the way again so I didnt use /spawn or /home and I apologize for that. I did get stuck there otherwise I would never destroy someones blocks without any permission.

So you say... but if you had really been trapped, why not break out around the door instead of digging a tunnel?
But you haven't told us why you went through his chests as well since you were there ...

I looked in that chests to see if there is sand in there since I had none. But there was no sand and as you can see I didnt took anything out of the chests (if thats logged too) so I harvested some sand from the side and build my way up to get some non-owned sand and replaced the sand I took from inside.

EDIT: As I said I apologize for my actions and even if my appeal gets denied I'll have to get used to it. It is my fault so I have to face the consequences.
