I live near a house that I though was abandoned. I had not seen any people going in or out for a while so I went in. The owner tried to kill me and a few minutes later, I get banned.

I am sorry. I said the door because I have no idea what "griefed" is. I will gladly work for you and return any objects. I will repair any damage and move if that is what you want. It will not happen again. I am truely sorry.

Protip, the map is 6 days old, none of the house are abandoned. Also if you don't know what 'grief' is you should have read the rules and the FAQ which is at every exit at spawn...
